Well, look at Us!

So in bizzaro world today the US were booted off the international sporting stage and Australia makes it to the 16. I have told my American friends to grab on to my coattails and I'll take them to the promised land. And oddly enough they now find themselves chanting "A.U.S" as oppossed to their usual anthem. Bring on Italy

Aussie, Aussie, Aussie!

Indy in the News

Indianapolis has been making it in the news - I know some of you in Oz have heard of this following story:

A month or two ago a van carrying a bunch of Christian school students was hit by a truck - leaving some of the occupants badly injured and killing others. Among the occupants were two pretty blonde girls - one of which was killed and the other hospitilized. While one family gave a burial, the other family sat at at the bed side of their comatise child. Or so they thought!

It took a good month before the girl awoke and eventually muster enough strength to tell the mother and father sitting at her bed side that she was not their daughter. It was a case of mistaken identity. It seemed that the girls were so similar in appearance and their physical injuries severe enough to confuse everyone.

So one family missed the burial of their own child and the other family spent little time with their daughter as she struggled to find strength.

Now that's gotta mess with you. And how bad would it have been for the girl lying in the hospital bed, looking at these two people she did not know, and not having the strength to communicate?

What the Hell Happened?

I left the tv and house this morning 50 mins into our opening game against Japan, thinking that it was a good accomplishment to even get to the World Cup. And then I receive an email from my Brazilian friend (who we meet with next) saying nice one, '3 x 1'..... What? WOOOHOOOOO! I dont know how that happened but who cares. Bring on Brazil!

And good on the old school buddy - Josip Skoko. Yep, a St Paul's Primary School alumnus!
