Sporting Life
There's two interesting things across the road from my house. Pictured below is Hinkle Stadium. This is the site that hosted the 1954 Indiana basketball finals. Some of you may be aware of a movie starring Gene Hackman entitled 'Hoosiers' which is based on the 1954 champions. The film was also shot in Hinkle Stadium. This is where the Butler Bulldogs play and this is where I will be particpating in intramurals (basketball competition). Right next door to Hinkle Stadium is a development which I am excited about: a Butler sports complex which will house a weights and fitness gym, pool, running track, more basketball courts and a lazy river.
