Going Green

The story of Henry Ford, 'the father of the industrial age' is quite an amazing story. It is also pleasing to see that Ford are going green with porous paving that filters water through retention beds to help manage storm water runoff. As well, the company was in the Guiness Book of Records for the largest ecologically inspired living roof - 10 ares of sedum grows on the factory roof which also helps to prevent storm water runoff, while improving air quality and insulating the building. Other technology includes paint fumes to power fuel cells which produces electricity. For a dirty industry they are making some advances.

I'd like to see bigger SUVs with worse emissions. After all - by the time it becomes a real problem we'll be long gone.

Ah, the father of the industrial age, moreover, the father of our fragile planets ultimate demise. Mr ford has left nothing but a legacy of degenerative wastelands, and should never be reffered to as even a shade of emerald. Ha, Henry, You may have made a fortune, but at what expense? You are the ultimate fool Henry. Indeed, Too Little Too Late, you foolish little man, indeed.

Not all Fords fault. Frederick Taylor wrote The Principles of Scientific Management in 1911, these principles became known as Taylorism. Some of the principles of Taylorism include scientific management of employees, and theory of specialisation, all of which are comphrensively incorporated into production line theory. Industrialization is closely linked to capitalism, ahh, corporate monsters raping the tender planets finite resoures all for a lazy buck. So I banish both Ford and Taylor. Equally liable for the demise of such a wonderful world.
